Yep, we went to the state fair. And yes, we both ate our weight in fried food.
We started with foot-long corn dogs
After this we shared a cheese curds and fried pickles. Both were both fattening and delicious.
At this point, you may be wondering "what else could you want to eat?" For Jason, it was Sweet Martha's Cookies and All-You-Can-Drink Milk. I joined in on the milk, but for dessert I chose a decedent, powdered sugar covered, on a stick piece of battered goodness. Yep, you guessed it, Fried Milky Way on a Stick. Wonderful.
We also visited the swine barn.
And to complete my collection of free paper head ware, a 'conehead' hat from the MN DOT.
